Luna

Luna is a resilient and loving dog whose journey has been one of profound transformation. She arrived in our care emaciated and neglected, tied to her dog house. Thanks to the dedication of a compassionate Samaritan and her incredible foster mom, Luna has overcome immense challenges. She spent six months in rehabilitation, and after consulting with a specialist, we discovered her pancreas issues were a result of past neglect. Luna is now on medication, which has shown fantastic results. She's reached a healthy weight and is thriving! This sweet girl, estimated to be around 8 years old, has a whole lifetime ahead of her to experience the love and care she deserves. She adores squeaky toys, loves to chase, and enjoys her walks.

Ideal Home

Luna would do best in a home where she can be the only dog. Her visually impaired state, as she relies on her keen sense of smell, doesn't stop her from enjoying life, but she does have a high prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Luna has been diagnosed with pancreas issues due to past neglect. She is currently on medication that has been very effective, and she is doing great.

Training & Support

Luna is crate trained and is highly motivated by treats, making her eager to learn.
