Wolfie is a gorgeous and unique pup, about a year old and weighing 63 lbs. He's very people-friendly, gets along with cats and kids, and shows no reactivity to other dogs. This athletic boy has a high energy level, rating an 8 out of 10, and truly loves to live life to the fullest with joyful play. Wolfie is incredibly affectionate, soaking up all the kisses, hugs, and snuggles you can give. He's also gentle, even when taking high-value treats! Despite spending a good portion of his life in isolation, Wolfie is very smart and already knows how to sit on command, showing he's attuned to communication. While we haven't had the opportunity to see him be protective, his striking, coyote-like looks certainly turn heads.
Wolfie loves life, which includes treats, walks, adventures, and attention. He prefers walks and adventures over treats, though he is very food-motivated. Like many Huskies, he isn't a fan of being confined. His unique looks and independent spirit, combined with his ability to make you laugh, make him a truly special companion. He's kept a clean living space in his kennel and isn't messy, suggesting he'll adapt quickly to a home environment with consistent structure. Wolfie has no known storm or separation anxiety and is generally well-behaved. When walking, he's initially excited and curious about his surroundings but settles down and doesn't pull much once he's had a chance to explore. He's also well-behaved in the car. Wolfie has a high food drive and is always eager for a meal! His prey drive is likely standard, as we haven't observed anything unusual.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would thrive with an active family or an individual or couple who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking. He's looking for someone eager to engage with him and help him discover the joys of living in a home, which will be a new experience for him.

Training & Support
Wolfie has never lived in a house before, so adjusting to indoor living will be a learning experience. We anticipate a slow introduction to the home environment would help him adjust well.
