About Dolce

Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is a delightful blend of playful energy and calm companionship. Dolce is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and eager to find her forever home. She has soulful eyes and a wiggly enthusiasm that makes her the perfect mix of pup and best friend. Dolce loves to play, especially with dogs her own size, engaging in joyful zoomies and epic tug-of-war games. She's also great at taking breaks and knows how to read other dogs' cues. After about an hour of high-energy play, she's happy to relax and lounge. Dolce is sweet and relaxed when meeting new dogs off-leash in a secure, supervised area. Her energy level matches her surroundings; she's ready for playtime or a cozy movie night, making her a wonderful snuggle buddy. Dolce hasn't been exposed to cats up close, though she does bark when she sees them through the window. While she hasn't spent much time around children, her gentle demeanor suggests she would likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids. On leash, Dolce is a dream, walking beautifully without pulling, though she'll keep an eye out for squirrels and may patrol the fence line. She rides well in the car, has no noted separation anxiety or potty issues, and hasn't shown destructive behavior when left alone. Dolce is currently not crated and handles her freedom responsibly. At heart, Dolce is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and independent enough to enjoy some alone time. She hasn't shown any resource guarding with her foster siblings, though feeding bowls separately in a new home is always a good transition plan. Dolce can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may start off shy, so slow, calm introductions are key. Once she feels safe, she's loyal, loving, and ready to be your favorite adventure buddy.

Ideal Home

Dolce would adore a home with a fenced yard to stretch her legs, but she doesn’t need constant high-intensity activity to be happy. She’d do well with a canine sibling or as your one and only; she truly appreciates both playtime and peaceful downtime.
