Ducky Bubby the Goofy Kid Approved Cutie

Ducky Bubby is a 4-year-old, 55 lb Lab mix with a personality as delightful as his name suggests! He's a perfect blend of goofy, sweet, and endearingly awkward, guaranteed to bring endless laughter into your home. His "teefies" (the little teeth that poke out) are incredibly cute, and his video shows off his sweet nature. Ducky is a true gem, a dog who’s a natural with children, possessing a calm and steady presence. He handles the chaos of kids with a wagging tail, engaging playfully with toys and treats gently. He shares well and even tries (sometimes comically failing!) to catch toys mid-air, which kids adore.

Ideal Home

Ducky would love a home with a backyard for sunbathing and exploring. He could also do well in an apartment as he is quiet in his crate and walks nicely on a leash. He is looking for a home with other dogs that are goofy and confident, as he can be a little shy at first and feeds off the confidence of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ducky is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Ducky is a treat-motivated boy who already knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to learn more. He has great house manners and is fully potty trained. He enjoys playing with toys and can entertain himself.

Transporation

Ducky is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Pickup locations for Canadian adopters are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
