DJ

DJ is a resilient and happy young male German Shepherd mix who, despite a past injury requiring amputation, lives life to the fullest as a tripod! He is incredibly sweet and has adapted wonderfully, showing no signs of slowing down. He's already mastered potty training and crate training, making him a well-adjusted companion.

Ideal Home

DJ would thrive in a patient and understanding home where his confidence can continue to grow. While he gets along well with cats and other dogs, he can be a little shy when meeting new ones and would benefit from gentle introductions. He is still working on his leash nervousness, so a home that can offer consistent training and positive reinforcement will be key to his success. Because of his past experiences, vehicles and unfamiliar situations can be a bit scary for him.

DJ is a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped dog. He had a past injury that required amputation.

Training & Support

DJ is house and crate trained. He can be nervous on leash, but with consistency and time, he is improving. He may need gentle guidance when meeting new animals.
