Meet Moe!
This sweet 3-month-old boy was found as a stray in a rural area and clearly had a tough time before coming to his foster home. We're not sure of his breed mix, but he looks like a cattle dog mixed with a smaller breed, perhaps Dachshund-sized. He's expected to be around 15-20 lbs as an adult and will not get very big. Moe is a little on the timid side and needs patience as he learns that the world is a safe place.
Ideal Home
Moe would thrive in a home that can offer him patience and reassurance as he gains confidence.
Ongoing Health
Moe is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered around 8-12 months of age at our cost.
Training & Support
Moe is a typical playful puppy who loves to crash after expending energy. He's making great progress on house training, whining when he needs to go out and not having accidents in his pen. He's also learning to walk on a leash and is very food motivated! He is currently in the chewing phase, so he needs appropriate toys and supervision when out of his pen. He loves attention and can be a little mouthy, but this is easily redirected with toys or treats. Moe is worried about meeting new people and needs a moment to warm up. Unknown or loud noises can scare him a bit, but with a little work, this will improve. He is currently sleeping about 6 hours through the night before needing to go out, then can sleep a couple more hours before breakfast.
