Kitt

Kitt is a wonderful Rottweiler mix who came to us as an owner surrender when her mom had to enter the military. She's adjusted beautifully to her new surroundings and has learned to coexist harmoniously with other dogs. However, she'd also be perfectly content being the only canine in a loving home. Kitt absolutely adores long walks and any opportunity to run, and she's a champion at sleeping through the night in her crate. She walks well on a leash and is a bright girl who knows her basic commands: sit, stay, and come. Kitt is friendly and outgoing with new people and children, though as with many Rottweilers, she loves to lean in for affection and doesn't quite realize her own strength! She's been introduced to chickens and a pig, and while she initially likes to give chase to the chickens, she's a very good girl and walks away once she has them cornered. Kitt is ready to be a fantastic companion!

Ideal Home

Kitt would love a home where she can enjoy long walks and has space to run. She's happy to be part of a pack or be the sole dog.

Ongoing Health

Kitt is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is in good health.

Training & Support

Kitt knows her basic commands (sit, stay, come) and walks well on a leash. Due to her size and breed, adopters should be prepared for her enthusiastic "lean-in" greetings and understand she doesn't always know her own strength.
