This sweet 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix, weighing around 60lbs, is a true gem. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with just moments to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever family for nearly nine months. We're puzzled why this loving girl hasn't received an application yet because she truly is a sweetheart. Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She has the most endearing puppy-dog eyes and longs for a person to snuggle with, often thinking she's a tiny lap dog. You'll likely find her napping on a comfy bed until it's time for a walk. She's a good listener, follows commands well, and takes treats with incredible gentleness. For entertainment, she enjoys chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.
