It's hard to believe this gorgeous boy was once found as a stray in rural New Mexico with four puppies in tow. Now safe in foster care, Donny is showing everyone what a gentle, loving soul he truly is.

Around 6 years old and weighing 76 pounds, Donny is a handsome Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix with a calm, loving personality. He's happiest simply being near his people. Whether you're watering the garden or relaxing at home, Donny will be right there by your side.

Donny is crate trained and finds comfort in his crate. He gets along well with other dogs, has been friendly with people of all ages, and is curious about cats without bothering them. He even keeps a watchful eye on the chickens without chasing them. Since arriving in foster care, he hasn't barked once.

Though he's a little shy, Donny's sweet nature shines through more each day. He's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much, just a loving home where he can feel safe and be close to his family.
