Cooper is a 4-year-old, 12-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart full of love for his people. Once he trusts you, he is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and happiest right by your side. He enjoys being close to his family and is friendly with people he knows. Like many Jack Russell mixes, Cooper is intelligent, sensitive, and forms deep bonds with his person. He can be shy around strangers at first and may react defensively if an unfamiliar person tries to grab or restrain him before he feels safe. Because of this, Cooper is looking for an adopter who understands the breed, will respect his boundaries, and will give him the time he needs to build trust.
