Meet Akira!

This sweet Staffordshire mix is about 5.5 years young and weighs around 60lbs. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever family for nearly nine months. We can't fathom why this beautiful girl hasn't found her perfect match yet! Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. She adores people and enjoys lounging on comfy dog beds, snoozing until it's time for a walk. Her favorite pastimes include chewing on bones and playfully tossing her stuffed toys.

Training & Support

Akira is already crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is a smart girl who listens well and is gentle when taking treats, making her a joy to train further.

Transporation

Akira is currently in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Please note that transports run every few weeks. If you are unable to accept a dog until a specific time, please apply closer to that date.
