Meet Roo!

Roo is a bright and spirited 4-month-old cattle dog mix, weighing around 19lbs as of July 10th. She embodies all the wonderful qualities of the heeler breed – she's fiercely loyal, loves to be involved in all your activities, and is always up for a new adventure! Roo is a very smart pup who thrives when she has a job to do, and she's eager to learn and please her people.

Ideal Home

Roo needs an experienced cattle dog owner with an active lifestyle who can provide her with plenty of physical and mental exercise. She is not suited for first-time dog owners or apartment living and requires a securely fenced yard. A playful, energetic canine companion would be a fantastic addition to her home, helping her to stay engaged and happy.

Ongoing Health

Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she's not fond of entering her crate, she settles quickly and behaves well once inside. She is not destructive when her needs for exercise and mental stimulation are met.

Roo is a smart dog who will benefit from continued training and enrichment to help her reach her full potential.
