Heddo! My name is Cade, but I also respond to "Big Stinky!" I'm a 5-year-old, 90-pound American Bulldog who has been patiently waiting for my forever home for four years! I was found abandoned in Azusa, California, and brought to Samson's Sanctuary. Despite my size, I have a heart full of love and enjoy nothing more than sprawling out on the couch, showing off my belly for all to see. It's my favorite way to relax and feel comfortable!
I can be a little cautious around new men, but with a little time and a female presence to ease my nerves, I warm up and become fiercely loyal. I love my foster dads' friends and enjoy all sorts of adventures with them! I'm always up for a good hike, love splashing in water, and am a champion stick collector. I enjoy exploring new smells and taking my time to soak it all in. While I'm independent, I do love spending time with my people and will rest my head on your lap for some good old-fashioned butt scratches. I prefer to be petted on my back initially, and once I trust you, my head is fair game!
Ideal Home
I get along well with other dogs my size and smaller, as long as they're friendly. However, I do have a strong prey drive for cats, so a home without them would be best. I'm also great with babies and have been very gentle around them in my foster home!

Training & Support
I'm a very smart boy and learn quickly, especially when food is involved! I'm food-motivated and eager to please. I'm also an excellent guard dog and will alert you to anyone approaching. I love squeaky toys, tug-of-war, bones, and frozen treats. My foster family and trainer have worked hard on my skills. I walk well on a leash, have excellent off-leash recall, and am e-collar and muzzle trained. I know many commands and am ready to continue learning in my new home. I would love a yard for zoomies, but trips to the park are also fantastic! I even have my own social media page, @CadeTheBulldog, where you can see all my adventures!

Transporation
I am currently in Los Angeles, CA. We have successfully placed dogs with families all over the country and even internationally! While we typically require approved applicants to meet me in Los Angeles and transport me home, we can discuss arrangements for out-of-area adoptions. Many families make a fun road trip out of it!
