Cheesey Tango

Cheesey Tango, affectionately known as Tango, is a charming 50-pound pit bull, born on August 23, 2023. He brings a unique blend of steady confidence and quiet grace to any home. Tango is athletic, alert, and energetic, yet always composed, moving through life with intention and a signature "cheesy" grin. He's the kind of dog that makes everything feel more settled simply by being present, a natural observer who reads the room and effortlessly draws people in.

Tango is social, friendly, and genuinely enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. He thrives with slow, respectful introductions and prefers harmonious interactions over chaotic ones. In group settings, he remains calm, polite, and self-controlled, showing no dramatics. He has completed a six-week group obedience class, mastering basics like sit, down, stay, heel, place, and leave it. He is highly food-motivated, making training engaging and enjoyable, always eager to impress when treats are involved. Tango loves to learn, enjoys having a job to do, and takes pride in doing things correctly, whether it's walking nicely on leash or reminding you it's treat time.

At home, Tango is a pleasure to live with. He happily crates himself for relaxation, enjoying his chew toys like bones or his favorite Chuck-It ball. He is not destructive, respects his personal space, and knows how to unwind. Despite his composed exterior, Tango is a devoted cuddle enthusiast who loves to be close and touch his people, settling in as if he's precisely where he belongs. His affection is quiet, grounding, and deeply comforting. Tango is fully potty trained and adjusts well to new surroundings after a brief period of observation. He possesses a wonderful medium energy level, happy to engage in walks and playtime, but equally content to relax and enjoy the quiet moments.

Tango would do best in a home that values structure, consistency, and clear communication. He thrives with steady expectations and sensible routines. Homes with children aged 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and the family.
