Duckie is a lovable 5-year-old goofball who is ready to find his forever home and his forever people! With his charming personality and gentle spirit, Duckie has a wonderful way of bringing smiles to everyone around him. He may take a moment to feel comfortable when meeting new people, but with slow, respectful introductions, he opens up beautifully and shows just how sweet and affectionate he truly is!
This easygoing boy is all about the simple joys in life. Duckie is happiest when he is near his favorite people, soaking up love, attention, and plenty of cozy moments together. He has a calm, chill demeanor that makes him a fantastic companion for relaxed days at home, whether that means lounging nearby or enjoying quiet quality time. Once he feels at ease, his goofy side shines through, reminding you that life is always better with Duckie!
Duckie has also been showing off what a wonderful walking buddy he can be! When passing people or other dogs, Duckie is interested but polite. He just wants to say a friendly hello and then continue on his way! He already knows sit, and while he is still learning lie down, he is eager to keep practicing and making progress to show off what a great companion he is. He truly is a people pleaser!
Duckie does well with other dogs and would fit nicely into a home with respectful children ages 13 and up who can give him the space he needs to settle in at his own pace. He has also been working on his health journey and is feeling great, showing that he is ready to stay active and enjoy a fun life with his future family!
