Butters enjoys long walks, especially off-leash on secure wooded trails, and he's a big fan of playing ball, tug-of-war, treat toys, and chewing on bones.
Butters is a very affectionate dog who thrives on companionship. He prefers to be with his people rather than spending time alone. He absolutely adores cuddles, head scritches, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He's already crate and kennel trained and views his crate as a safe space, though he's not afraid to let you know if he feels he's missing out on the fun! He's ticklish about his feet, so gentle handling is best during grooming. He tolerates it well when his fur is handled with care, and while he doesn't like his hair being pulled, he's fine with light styling now and then. Butters will let you know when he needs to go outside by nudging the door or his harness. He's a fun-loving, energetic, and sweet boy who's eager to become someone's constant companion.
