Gaia June is sweeter than honey! She is a 3-year-old, 76 lb Lab/Pittie mix with the most calming and comforting presence. Gaia's soulful eyes and gentle nature are incredibly grounding, making her the perfect companion to melt away stress. She truly embodies comfort, making any house feel softer and more peaceful.

Ideal Home

Gaia would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people. She's done wonderfully with children as young as 7 and enjoys quiet affection. While she can coexist peacefully with other dogs, she prefers a calm, respectful companion over a rowdy playmate. She's also been respectful of cats, and a sleepover can be arranged if you have a feline friend.

Ongoing Health

Gaia is up-to-date on all her vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Gaia is crate trained, has excellent house manners, and walks beautifully on a leash. She has a medium-to-low energy level and is content with a comfy couch, soft voices, love, a few walks, and quality time with her people. Due to her deep bonds with her people, she may quietly wait by doors when you leave, hoping for your return, but this is not unmanageable.

Transportation

Gaia is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
