This petite, bright-eyed girl is full of spunky sweetness and approaches life like a playground she’s just discovered. Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs 37 lbs, and is a happy, medium-sized girl with energy to spare and a heart that is wide open. On leash, she has great basics and an easy pace, responding nicely to corrections. When she gets loved on, she becomes almost giddy with enthusiasm that is sure to make you giggle!
Pippi has friendly confidence with other dogs and enjoys playful interactions. She plays with higher energy, zooming and engaging confidently, and did best with equally confident female dogs and with males overall. Her play style can be bold, so she thrives with clear boundaries and dog friends who can advocate for themselves. She walks right into her crate without fuss, which is a big win! Pippi would love an active family who enjoys movement and play, and who can provide the structure to channel her happy sparkle. Her response to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we'd love to see her in a home with a cat or two to get a full understanding of her approach. Pippi’s theme is simple: big joy, big presence, and a big heart in a perfectly medium package!

Pippi is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
