Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is a roughly 8-month-old, 35 lb bundle of joy with panda-like markings and the most incredibly floppy ears you've ever seen! She's a sweetheart through and through, with a gentle and affectionate nature that melts hearts. Poppy was a rescue, so her exact breed mix is a mystery, but we suspect she has some Lab and Pittie in her. She's still growing and has plenty of love to give!

Ideal Home

Poppy would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can continue to explore and play at her own pace. She's done wonderfully with children aged 3-16 and is also dog-friendly, so a home with a canine companion would be great.

Ongoing Health

Poppy is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and she has been spayed.

Training & Support

Poppy is already crate-trained and potty-trained, and she walks fairly well on leash with practice. She's treat-motivated, knows "sit," and takes treats very gently. While she can be a little shy in new situations, her sweet personality quickly shines through with a little time and patience.

Transportation

Poppy is currently located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
