Max (Greyhound)

Meet Max!

Max is a 1-year-old, neutered male Greyhound mix who weighs just over 45 pounds. He had a rough start in life due to previous neglect, which left him underweight and timid. Thankfully, he's now in a loving foster home with a supportive family and two other Greyhounds, where he's blossoming and coming out of his shell. Max is learning to do his business outside and is making great progress. While leashes aren't his favorite, he walks well once they're on and doesn't pull much. Due to his timid nature and impressive speed, he needs to be on a leash at all times when exploring new environments to ensure his safety.

Ideal Home

Max would thrive in an experienced home with adopters who have previous experience with rescue and racing breeds. A fenced yard is a must to keep this speedy fellow safe.

Ongoing Health

Max is a healthy young pup who has made a great recovery.

Training & Support

Max is working on his housetraining and leash manners. He is doing well in his crate when provided with toys to keep him occupied, and he especially loves rubber squeaky toys and hard bones. He's learning to share the bed at night and is a wonderful cuddler. He has a good bark but rarely uses it.
