Meet Agatha! Agatha is a sweet chocolate lab mix who has found herself back with us through no fault of her own. Her previous owner sadly developed allergies and made the difficult decision to return her so she could find a family that’s the perfect fit forever this time. This sweet girl is pure love...plus maybe a couple extra snack-related pounds she’s currently pretending not to hear about! Agatha absolutely LOVES other dogs. If she could make "running around the yard with dog friends" a full-time career, she would happily apply immediately. She’s playful, social, and has a blast wrestling and zooming around with canine buddies. With people, Agatha is incredibly sweet and loving once she settles in. She’s understandably a little nervous right now with all the recent changes in her life, but underneath that uncertainty is a very affectionate girl who really just wants to feel safe and loved again. Agatha is hoping her next family will be the forever kind — one filled with patience, love, dog friends, and maybe a few less treats... according to her foster mom, not according to Agatha herself.
Ideal Home
Agatha would do best in a home with older kids or adults only. She previously lived happily with elementary-aged children, but little kiddos make her nervous, so a calmer home without little ones would help her feel most comfortable. She absolutely LOVES other dogs and would be thrilled to have canine companions.
Ongoing Health
Agatha is currently a little overweight, but this is something that can be managed with a consistent diet and exercise plan.
Training & Support
Agatha is fully potty trained. She is a bit nervous with recent life changes, so a patient and loving home will help her feel safe and secure.

- You must be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home.
