Jacey (I Have a Secret Crush!)

Jacey is a gentle, quiet soul who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. The progress she's made in foster care has been truly heartwarming. Over the past two months, she's started wagging her tail more often, coming closer for pets, and finding comfort alongside her canine foster brother. Watching her build trust little by little has been incredibly rewarding, her foster shares. She is a female, senior Shepherd mix.

Ideal Home

Jacey would likely do best in a patient home with another friendly dog to help guide her. She is nervous around new experiences and shy when approached. Because of her past, she will need a patient adopter who understands that trust with her is earned slowly and gently. She is not recommended for a home with children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Jacey is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained.

Training & Support

Jacey is fully crate trained and has excellent manners in the home. She peacefully coexists with both dogs and cats and is especially comforted by calm, confident animal companions. She's beginning to make progress with leash training as well.
