Meet Theo, a big-hearted 2-year-old, 63-pound Retriever mix who loves his people, car rides, snacks, ball games, sunshine, and relaxing with his favorite humans. After nearly five months at the shelter, he is ready for a couch, a yard, and someone to call his own.

Ideal Home

Theo would do best in a calmer home without young children. Adults or older, respectful teens who understand when he needs space would be the best fit. He has previously shared kennel space with other dogs, but currently seems to appreciate having his own space; a meet-and-greet with potential canine siblings is recommended.

Training & Support

Theo knows “sit,” walks nicely on a leash, and takes correction well. He was house trained when he arrived at the shelter, though he may need a quick refresher after spending several months in a kennel.
