Tiffany is a truly remarkable dog, a testament to resilience and the power of patience. This sweet girl came to us incredibly fearful, often shaking, hiding in her crate, and hesitant to walk on a leash. She'd try to squeeze into any available crevice to feel safe. However, it was clear from the start that Tiffany was never aggressive, just scared.
Through consistent, gentle handling and confidence-building exercises, Tiffany blossomed. Within days, her leash walks improved, and within a week, she was navigating a busy street! While initially unnerved by people and especially other pets on walks, she gradually became more comfortable, even enjoying her outings.
Now, Tiffany is a completely different dog! She's full of life, joyful, and acts like a giant, happy puppy. Her exuberance can be a lot to manage at times, with her strong forward momentum and excited paw-planting when you interact with her. She's playful, engaging, and has found her voice to express her desires. What's even more wonderful is her progress with other dogs; she's moved from growling at kennel fronts to playful stances and wagging her tail furiously. She's even had positive interactions with other leashed dogs. Tiffany has also learned the "sit" command as part of her incredible transition.
Ideal Home
Tiffany would thrive in an experienced home with large breeds. This is not due to aggression, but because her newfound energy and strength require continued training to ensure everyone's safety during her enthusiastic zoomies. She needs a home that can help her understand her size and weight and teach her proper etiquette with humans. A home with strong fencing is a must.

Training & Support
Tiffany has made amazing progress but will benefit from ongoing training to refine her leash manners and awareness of her size. She still exhibits a noticeable fear and high anxiety around men working with tools, cars, and vacuums. In these situations, she can become destructive in her attempts to escape. Continued positive reinforcement and desensitization will be key to helping her overcome these triggers.
