Taylor *Adopt*

Taylor is a young foxhound who is thriving in his foster home. He had very little experience in a home before coming to us, so new sounds like the TV or washing machine were initially a bit startling. However, Taylor is working hard and becoming braver and more confident every day! He's now joining the rest of the pack for dinner and has even learned that napping on the couch is a wonderful thing. Taylor is eager to bond with his forever family and is worth every bit of patience. He's already mastered the big stuff: he's housebroken, sleeps through the night, and is happy to use a crate when needed. He is still working on leash manners, as neighborhood noises can make him anxious, but he's improving with every walk.

Ideal Home

Taylor would do best in a home with another dog or two, as the dogs in his current foster home are helping him build confidence. He needs a patient family who understands that building trust takes time.

Ongoing Health

Taylor was heartworm positive but has successfully completed treatment and is otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

Taylor needs continued practice with leash walking, as he can be anxious around neighborhood noises. He is housebroken, sleeps through the night, and is good in a crate.
