Meet Ernie!

Ernie is a charming 8-year-old, 63lb Pittie/Cattle Dog mix who is looking for his forever family. He was found as a stray but quickly showed his loving and gentle nature. Despite a rough start, Ernie is a true gem who is ready to share his endless affection with his new pack. He's a chill companion who also gets excited for walks and playtime, always eager to be included.

Ideal Home

Ernie would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people, following them from room to room. He's shown himself to be a gentle soul and is believed to be great with children. He also gets along well with other dogs, even letting smaller pups boss him around, and seems curious but not aggressive towards cats.

Ongoing Health

Ernie is up-to-date on his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He is a healthy boy ready for his next chapter.

Training & Support

Ernie is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is not a fan of crates and will try to escape. While he can get a bit vocal if left crated while you're home, he calms down with a treat or verbal encouragement and is not destructive when left unsupervised.
