Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes. I can be shy and timid at first because I'm unsure of new situations, but I warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I may be missing part of my tail, but I'm definitely not missing any personality! I'm from Texas and it's quite chilly up here, so I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night. I'm working on potty training and doing well with frequent breaks. I'll need someone to continue teaching me manners and how to walk politely on a leash. I love treats and really want to do the right thing, so I hope you can teach me! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I make her go get them. She says it's not polite to jump, but I'm still learning! I've been around people of all ages, even those smaller than me, and I love everyone! I do jump up to say hello and let you know I'm here and would love some attention. I've met a cat and was a little scared at first, but he likes me and I think we'll become friends. I've also met some big dogs and I learn from them, taking their lead. I know when they're done playing and I go find a toy. I enjoy running and chasing them in the yard, and they like playing with me too. They chase the ball, but I don't see the point, so I just wait until they get back. I'm looking for someone who can see past my timidness and recognize what an amazing pup I am! They'll continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. In return, I'll give you kisses, love, and endless laughs. Pinky promise!
