Cyrus

Cyrus is a two-year-old dog who has had quite an adventurous life! He came to us last summer looking like a pile of bones and very much alone. We nursed him back to health, and he truly blossomed. After being adopted, he experienced a series of unfortunate events, including being left behind, an owner's arrest, and even a jailbreak to retrieve him! Despite these dramatic turns, Cyrus remained resilient, and thankfully, we were able to bring him back into our care. He's now neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for a stable, loving forever home. He enjoys bones, pig ears, and treats, and is kennel-trained.

Ideal Home

Cyrus would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as this is a requirement for his adoption. While he was raised with cats, he may no longer be comfortable around them.

Ongoing Health

Cyrus is neutered and current on his DAPP vaccinations. His rabies vaccination was updated by the shelter.

Training & Support

Cyrus is kennel-trained. He is doing well in a playgroup with other dogs, but we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats.

Cyrus is currently located in Centralia/Rochester. Potential adopters will need to be willing to travel to this location to meet him.
