Barkus Aurelius Roman, affectionately known as Aurelio, is a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as his royal name suggests. He's a goofy, affectionate puppy who adores being part of the family. With his striking creamy tan coat, mesmerizing icy blue eyes, and sweet puppy face, Aurelio is sure to capture your heart. He's happy wrestling with his sisters, enjoying belly rubs, or snuggling up for a cuddle. Aurelio thrives on routine and is a quick learner, already mastering commands like "lay," "stay," and "paw" due to his high food motivation. He's making excellent progress with crate and potty training, and is learning valuable lessons in patience and impulse control.
Ideal Home
Aurelio would do well in a home where he can be included in family activities. He is learning to respect the space of an older dog and would benefit from slow, supervised introductions to any resident cats or young children. He is still working on not jumping when excited, so continued positive reinforcement and training will be key.

Aurelio is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.

Transporation
Aurelio is located in Texas and can be transported to various drop-off locations across the US and Canada through our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
