About Finn

Meet Finn! 🍀

Finn is a sweet girl, incredibly smart and eager to please. She's a 7-year-old Lab mix with a heart as big as her full frame. Born on St. Patrick’s Day, she truly is a lucky charm just waiting to bring joy to her forever family! Finn knows all her basic commands—sit, stay, down, come, heel, off, and no—and even responds to hand signals! She’s currently learning “settle” for when her excitement bubbles over.

Finn is a wonderful walking companion. She confidently enjoys 2-mile walks and does great on a halti and martingale collar. She’s been trained to walk on either side, always keeping safely away from traffic. At home, Finn is full of personality. She quickly learned to use the doggy door by watching her furry friend and still politely “asks” for permission before heading out. One of her cutest habits? Greeting you with a toy every time you come home—complete with full-body wiggles and happy chatter. If she can’t find a toy, she might grab a shoe (so we are using “drop it” so she will proudly place it at your feet!).

From our experience, Finn gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people. She’s learning the ropes of being a calm “community dog” around neighbors. She also takes her role as household watch dog seriously, keeping an eye on things from her favorite lookout spot at the bottom on the stairs. She’s doing well with car rides and will let you know when she needs a break. With a little continued routine, she’ll be the perfect travel buddy. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and delightfully goofy companion who will greet you like you’re the best part of her day—every single day—Finn is your girl! 🐾💚
