Bailey - Pending

Bailey is a sweet, cuddly, and loving Italian Greyhound who is approximately eight-years-old and weighs twelve pounds. She can be a bit skittish and anxious, but she absolutely adores her people and enjoys sitting on laps or next to them. Bailey has a fairly low activity level and is described as being "a great companion." Her previous owner made the difficult decision to find her a new home due to changes in life circumstances, including a new baby and moves.

Ideal Home

Bailey would thrive in a home with someone who has experience with the Italian Greyhound breed. An ideal home would have someone home more often than not, no young children, and a fenced yard. She would do well with a calm, small dog, as she currently lives with another dog and gets along fine. She has not been around cats.

Bailey is generally healthy.

Training & Support

Bailey uses dog training pads and is accident-free about 90-95% of the time, especially when unsupervised. She will also potty outside when with other dogs. Accidents tend to happen when she is unsupervised or on unfamiliar flooring. Patience and understanding with house training will be essential. While she doesn't like crates, she is fine staying in a mudroom when left alone. She is accustomed to leash walking, though she may pull when excited. Bailey is shy around new people and can be skittish around active children. She can get anxious during storms.
