Hector is a handsome boy who was found wandering the streets alone as a young puppy. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now thriving in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. He's learning all about love and companionship, and he can't wait to share it with you! Hector is believed to be a Standard Schnauzer and is approximately 5 months old, weighing about 35 pounds. He's up-to-date on vaccines and is a well-behaved pup, already house trained and kennel trained. He's also great with children, other dogs, and cats, and he walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. Standard Schnauzers are known for being intelligent, loyal, and devoted companions who love to be involved in family life. They are playful, athletic, and eager to learn, making them wonderful partners for active households. They also tend to be a good choice for those seeking a more hypoallergenic dog. Because of their intelligence, they thrive with positive training, daily exercise, and plenty of interaction.
Ideal Home
Hector is still very much a puppy and would do best with a family that enjoys spending time together and is excited to help him continue building confidence and good manners. His ideal family will include him in everyday life, provide daily walks and playtime, enjoy training and teaching him new things, and give him plenty of love, structure, and attention. He's ready to grow into a loyal, lifelong companion.
