Niko Bear looks like he belongs in an action movie with his rugged exterior and handsome features. But don't let his tough guy look fool you – underneath it all, he's a big, sweet teddy bear with a heart of gold. He's about 4 years old, weighs around 74 lbs, and is likely a Pittie/Shepherd mix. Niko has a calm, easygoing nature and is perfectly content enjoying life at his own pace. He can take a moment to warm up to new people, but once he does, he'll lean his whole body into you for affection. He's also dog-friendly, having done well with all kinds of dogs in his foster home, and is respectful of cats. Niko is potty-trained and has great house manners, though he's still building confidence with his crate. He enjoys spending time outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a backyard. Niko is the perfect companion for someone looking for a steady, sweet friend who reminds you that not every day needs to be exciting to be a good day.
Ideal Home
Niko would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can enjoy moseying around and taking in the fresh air at his own pace. He would do best with another dog that shares his outlook on life – one that enjoys companionship without needing a full-time playmate and appreciates hanging out together while doing their own thing.
Ongoing Health
Niko is a healthy boy who has received all age-appropriate vetting.
Training & Support
