Cookie is an approximately 2-year-old, 50-pound Poodle who is the epitome of perfection! She lives harmoniously with a pack of six dogs of various sizes, five cats, and is gentle and respectful of the two horses in her life. Cookie is also great with children and has socialized with toddlers. She is fully vetted, heartworm-free, and a dream to groom. Cookie is a non-chewer with a gentle mouth, making her an expert treat taker. She has gained much-needed weight and is a fantastic eater. Cookie has excellent house manners, so your belongings are safe from her attention. She sleeps soundly, often in bed, but is also content in her dog bed. While not fenced, she is learning to potty on a leash and enjoys weekend visits to a fenced yard. Cookie's temperament is consistently happy; she has never been heard to growl or shown unhappiness. She is not a barker, except for brief greetings of delivery personnel, and quickly settles down. Cookie is highly adaptable and happy to join you for a quiet day of binge-watching or an adventure like hiking or kayaking. She's an angel during vet visits, having undergone heartworm treatment, routine vaccinations, testing, and a lower lid entropion repair surgery. Cookie is wonderful with all people, including men, women, the elderly, and even the mail carrier! She expresses her excitement by chattering her teeth and enjoys mimicking actions, showcasing her playful and young-at-heart spirit.
