Butler

Butler is a charming 14-pound, approximately 4-year-old pup who is a true survivor. He was rescued from deplorable living conditions and has blossomed beautifully in his foster home. Butler is quick to respond when called and enjoys energetic play sessions in the backyard, especially with his canine companions. He has formed a special bond with Maddox, another dog available through Wags, and they share a similar playful spirit, making them a wonderful potential pair to adopt together. Because his past was so challenging, Butler is still exploring and learning about everyday household life. He's curious about new things, so gentle supervision will be important as he adjusts to his forever home.

Ideal Home

Butler would thrive in a home with at least one other dog to play with, as he enjoys having canine friends. Due to his past experiences, a home without young children is recommended, as he startles easily. However, he has shown affection towards an older child in his foster home. A patient and understanding environment will allow Butler to continue to gain confidence.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. His adoption fee covers food, vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated veterinarian.

Training & Support

Butler is still adjusting to a typical household environment and may be startled by new things. Patience, time, and a gentle approach will be key to helping him feel secure and confident.
