Cash

Cash is a handsome German Shepherd mix who has overcome a great deal. He came to us after suffering a fractured leg that required amputation due to a gunshot wound, and sadly, likely other abuse. While he's initially wary of new men, he warms up once he realizes they mean no harm. He can appear intimidating, but he's a truly sweet and cuddly boy, especially with his foster mom. With patience and lots of TLC, his fear is something we are actively helping him overcome.

Ideal Home

Cash gets along wonderfully with all dogs, big and small, and enjoys playful interactions. He's happy and can adjust his play style to match his companions.

Ongoing Health

Cash has had his fractured leg amputated and is fully vetted. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventative medications for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Training & Support

He is crate trained and asks to go out for potty breaks. While he generally has good house manners, he has been known to counter-surf when food is left accessible. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help him continue to build confidence and trust.
