Rufus is a 7-year-old, 65 lb Catahoula mix with a gentle soul and impeccable manners. This sweet senior gentleman is the definition of calm and lovable, enjoying cozy naps, especially with a canine buddy. Rufus enjoys the simple pleasures in life: a soft bed, a sunny spot by the window, and the occasional belly-up stretch. His laid-back personality makes him the perfect low-maintenance companion for a relaxed home. Whether he’s sharing space quietly or greeting you with a soft wag, his presence brings an instant sense of peace.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is currently taking medication to help with some skin issues and will be available for adoption once his treatment is complete. He also has some badly worn teeth and may have experienced hip issues in the past. These don't stop him from enjoying life, and every now and then, he surprises you with short bursts of happy hops.

Training & Support

Rufus has impeccable manners and is house-trained. While his energy is generally low, he occasionally surprises with happy hops, which are a joy to witness.
