COWBOY JACK aka CJ (Friendly To All Ages, Affectionate, Loving, Sweet, Kind)

Cowboy Jack, also known as CJ, is a handsome 1.5-year-old English Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a black and white spotted coat and a heart full of love. He's a playful and adventurous boy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like a good car ride, a game of "find the treat," or simply observing the world from the porch with his favorite person. After a tough start, CJ is now healthy, happy, and eager to find his forever family.

Ideal Home

CJ would thrive in an active home with a big backyard where he can run and play to his heart's content. He's great with kids and adults of all ages and would love to be your hiking, camping, or outdoor adventure buddy. However, due to his hunting instincts, he needs a home without cats. He also does best with dogs around his size, as he sometimes forgets his own strength when he wants to play.

CJ is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.

Training & Support

CJ is good on leash. He sometimes uses his paws for attention, even with smaller dogs, so patient guidance will help him learn gentler ways to interact. He enjoys quiet time indoors after a day of fun, making him a great companion for movie nights.
