Maurice is a delightful 6-month-old shepherd mix, weighing around 44 lbs. He's the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and calm companion. Maurice loves to romp with his dog friends but also enjoys relaxing by your side, making him an ideal co-worker for those who work from home. He's happy to lounge at your feet, with breaks for playtime, potty, and outdoor adventures.

Ideal Home

Maurice truly shines with other dogs and thrives in a home with at least one friendly, playful canine companion to help him gain confidence and learn the ropes. He does well with kids and adults but can be a bit shy initially when meeting new people. He would benefit from a family who can continue his socialization, allowing him to approach new experiences at his own pace.

Training & Support

Maurice is a smart, food-motivated learner who already knows "sit" and "stay." While he can be a little stubborn at times, as shepherds can be, he makes great progress with consistent, positive reinforcement. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. He's also making good progress with leash training and will be a wonderful walking companion as he continues to build confidence.
