Aster and her five siblings were born to their mother, Gloria, on March 25th. At just 3 days old, she came into our care, where she's spent the last 12+ weeks growing, thriving, and preparing for her forever home. Aster is a gentle, quiet girl with a thoughtful personality. She's very observant and prefers to hang back for a moment to see what her braver siblings think before trying something new herself. Once she feels comfortable though, she happily seeks out attention and affection. She's especially sweet and polite when taking treats. Aster has settled into a wonderful routine, starting her mornings bright and early with her siblings, followed by a full day of playtime, naps and puppy antics before bedtime around 9 PM. We expect Aster to grow to around the size of her mama, Gloria, who weighs approximately 65 pounds. She has a thick, beautiful coat and will likely do very well in cooler climates. At nearly 12 weeks old, Aster's personality is still developing, but we can already picture her becoming an incredible companion and future hiking partner once she's fully grown.
