Taryn

Meet Taryn! This young lady has had a rough start to life, but she's ready for a fresh beginning with a patient and loving family. She's a bit skittish and mouthy, and is still learning her manners, but underneath that is a deeply loving, independent, and snuggly companion who craves a home, love, and security. Taryn is blind in one eye and has a broken tooth, but the vet assures us it doesn't bother her as long as she's eating well. She's ready to learn and just needs a chance to show you how wonderful she can be!

Ideal Home

Taryn needs an experienced owner who can provide strong leadership and an "alpha" presence. She would do best in a home with confident "alpha playmates" who can stand up to her challenges and help her build confidence. She is an absolute no with cats, dogs smaller than her, weak dogs, or sick dogs.

Ongoing Health

Taryn is blind in one eye and has a broken tooth. The vet has advised that as long as she eats, the broken tooth is not causing her discomfort.

Training & Support

Taryn is mouthy and has no manners, indicating a need for consistent training and positive reinforcement. She is learning and will benefit from a patient hand and a clear leadership style.
