As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing about 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be around his people, often described as a "Velcro dog" who will be your shadow everywhere you go. Chip adores his people, loves to go on sniffing walks, is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves being outdoors! He's also the king of costumes and can rock any outfit!
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive with an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. While he can be a bit cautious with new people, he becomes a best friend once he trusts you. He has done well with calm, dog-friendly siblings and would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings that are happy to engage with his playful nature. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats. He would also do well as an only dog if he could go on outings every so often. Chip would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training and would love to work with him. He has also done well around older children.
