Maximus - A Lover not a Fighter

Maximus is a handsome Lab mix, about 14 months old and weighing 66 pounds. He's a smart, brave, and loyal companion who is always up for an adventure. Maximus loves to play with other dogs and is discovering the joy of toys. He is eager to bond with his people and be a happy, cherished dog. Maximus promises to be a loyal sidekick, enthusiastic hiking partner, and your most devoted best friend.

Maximus was surrendered to us after an unfortunate dog attack that left his previous owners unable to cover his medical bills. He bravely overcame his injuries and is now fully healed, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Ideal Home

Maximus would thrive in a home with dog-loving individuals who understand that he may need a little time to adjust and settle in. He enjoys the company of other dogs, both male and female.

Transporation

Maximus is currently located in Houston, Texas, and transport can be arranged to a location near you. Transport is provided by AJC Rescue & Transport via air-conditioned/heated vans. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's progress during transport and will be given an estimated time of arrival. Dogs on transport stop for breaks and are crated for their safety.
