Bo

Bo is an older gentleman looking for his forever home. He's a sweet dog with a lot of love to give, but he also experiences anxiety, so he needs a loving and understanding home in return. Bo has had a challenging journey, having been with his previous family for the first seven years of his life. After a period of living with us while his family navigated some hardships, he returned to them for about three years. Unfortunately, another difficult situation arose about a year ago, requiring him to be rehomed again. Bo is incredibly ready for a stable and permanent home where he can finally relax and be himself.

Ideal Home

Bo would do best in a calm environment where he can feel secure and unwind. He is a vocal Bloodhound and enjoys "talking" to express himself, which includes loudly barking at strangers. Once he gets to know someone, any barking is usually just his way of communicating. He would thrive in a home where his people are around a lot. Bo also gets along well with calm dogs, particularly females, and is good with older, dog-savvy children.

Ongoing Health

Bo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Bo experiences anxiety, so he benefits from a loving and patient approach. His protective nature means he will bark at strangers, but this is a common trait for his breed and often subsides once he recognizes someone.
