Meet Bonbon! This adorable 2-year-old Poodle-Chihuahua mix weighs about 13 pounds and has a big personality to match his small stature. Bonbon is active, loyal, and incredibly devoted to his people. He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his loving and protective nature truly shines. He might bark a little at strangers initially, as he likes to let his family know when someone new is around. Bonbon is a social butterfly who gets along well with cats, other dogs, children, men, and women. With a little initial patience, he quickly blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. Bonbon's resilience is remarkable; he was found wandering the streets, dirty and flea-covered, yet his loving spirit remained intact. Now safe and sound, he's ready for a family that will provide the stability and love he deserves, and he'd thrive in a home that appreciates an active little dog with a loyal heart. If you're seeking a devoted companion who will always be thrilled to see you and stay close by your side, Bonbon could be your perfect match, ready to leave his past behind for the beautiful life he's always deserved.
Ideal Home
Bonbon would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. He'd love an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. This family should have an open mind regarding the behaviors of rescued street animals, understanding their need for protection and education. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Bonbon has received a spay/neuter surgery, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, and deworming. He tested negative for heartworm and received a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Bonbon is not house-trained. The rescue team works hard to rehabilitate their foster pets' health and emotions, but it's impossible to house-train each one due to the sheer number of animals. Potential adopters should be prepared to provide this training and support.
