Nicolage

Nicolage is a happy, sweet boy who is friends with anyone! He'll be two in May 2026 and still has a lot of energy to share. He's about 37 pounds and can jump like a pogo stick! His amusing little perma-grin is the result of an underbite and shifted lower jaw. This condition may be the result of a birth defect or a past injury, but it doesn't stop him from being a wonderful companion. His teeth are healthy but a little misdirected on his left side. This shouldn't cause big problems, though grabbing things with his teeth might be harder as he gets older, and some hard items may be difficult for him to chew. He might need more frequent teeth cleanings than the average dog, but he can eat kibble and soft foods just fine. Otherwise, he's healthy, very active, cuddly, eager to please, smart, and entertaining! Nicolage is learning to walk on a leash and never wanders too far on off-leash walks. He plays especially well with Boyle, a related dog with whom he was rescued. Boyle is also available for adoption and would love to be adopted with Nicolage.

Nicolage would thrive in a home that can keep up with his energy and playfulness.

Ongoing Health

Nicolage has an underbite and shifted lower jaw which may require more frequent teeth cleanings and can make chewing very hard items difficult. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nicolage is learning to walk on a leash and has a good recall on off-leash walks. He is eager to please and smart, making him a joy to train.
