Meet Luca! This handsome 2-year-old Aussie mix, weighing in at 33 lbs, is a true testament to resilience and love. Luca's journey began in a tough spot, abandoned at an oil field, but rescue gave him a second chance. Despite his past, he's blossomed into one of the sweetest, most devoted companions you could ask for. His greatest joy is being by your side, soaking up all the affection and companionship you can offer.

Ideal Home

Luca would love a home where he can be close to his people, enjoying gentle pets and belly rubs. He's doing wonderfully with crate training and is making great progress with his leash skills. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend, though he'd also be perfectly happy as the sole focus of your attention. He has been noted to get along with children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Luca is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Luca is eager to learn and needs a patient adopter who will continue to help him build his confidence. He's making good progress with leash walking and crate training.
