Meet Taensas Boykins. Taensas Boykins's home is located along the Gulf Coast of Alabama. We are among the Silver Preferred Breeders of the Boykin Spaniel Society. Our dogs are like our children since ours have grown and gone. Our dogs live with us, in and out of the house. Dam, Bar6 Taensas Cool Breeze (Breezy) is the daughter of NRCH Cavern Sizzlin Bacon. The Sire, Brandywine Southern Finn (Finn) has been titled as an NRCH since before he was 2! We got our first Boykin over 20 years ago and have never considered having anything else. After we lost our cherished Lucy, at 15, and we retired, we decided to become breeders, now that we have the time to dedicate to training and caring for puppies. We have SGa's Taensas Delta and Cavern Taensas RipleyRiver and a few years later added Breezy to our family. Our goal and focus are to maintain the integrity of the breed, adhere to guidelines, educate folks about the breed, and find responsible new owners who will do the same. Our dogs can be found on the ofa.org site for their test results and numbers. You will see they are CHIC certified, meaning they have had all required genetic testing completed.
