Meet Pilot! This handsome boy is ready to fly into your heart. Pilot is a black German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a nose for adventure. He's a bit of a gourmand, always hopeful that deliveries to the rescue camp contain something delicious – he's certainly earned the title of Delivery Truck Greeter! His foster mom, Patricia, says he's "just the best dog," and coming from someone who sees a lot of dogs, that's high praise indeed! Pilot is estimated to be around 5 years young, with a distinguished touch of grey around his mouth that only adds to his charm. He's a large boy, weighing in at almost 60 pounds, but he's surprisingly easy to handle. Pilot is a happy, good-natured, and obedient companion who can be trusted with anything. He loves to take the lead and is always the first to greet visitors at the gate. He's been busy inspecting all the packages arriving at the rescue, and he hopes his future humans also enjoy the excitement of new deliveries for him to inspect!
