About Snuggly Bear

This unbelievably sweet, snuggly, mushy, loving baby boy is Berra, though his foster family affectionately calls him Bear! He joined rescue as part of an accidental litter and, thankfully, was raised with immense love by a wonderful family while he waited for his forever home.

Bear is now 13 weeks old and already possesses the perfect mid-size Lab build, currently weighing around 16 lbs, with an estimated adult weight of about 60 lbs. His coat is a stunning, velvety jet black. He has been diligent with his veterinary care, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on preventatives, and has been neutered. He's a happy, healthy pup ready to find his own loving family!

Bear is a delightful blend of active and playful, yet gentle, snuggly, and incredibly affectionate. He has benefited from exceptional socialization in foster care. He is wonderful with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling, though he would also be content as an only dog with regular doggy playdates. He's also been raised with cats and gets along famously with them. Bear adores all people and has a fantastic temperament with children of all ages and adults alike. He loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch and giving kisses. He enjoys walks in the woods, playing in the water, and is a good traveler in the car. He's a social butterfly who would make a great sidekick for all your adventures, but he's also an easy-going guy happy to relax at home and enjoy nature. He's making great progress with house training and reliably does his business outside.

Ideal Home

Bear would love a home where he can be your constant companion. He would thrive with a doggy sibling but would also be happy as an only pup if he has opportunities for doggy playdates.

Ongoing Health

Bear is a healthy young pup who has received all his age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

Bear is doing well with house training and reliably goes potty outside. He is a devoted, intelligent, and loving companion.
